Decent service, mediocre breakfast food. If I wasn’t already staying at the Days Inn, I probably wouldn’t eat there.
MoreI had to rate the food and decor to publish this review. We never got the chance to experience either. Our group of 7 attempted to have breakfast here. We were not staying at the hotel but walked off the street into a "family restaurant." Part of our group arrived ahead of time and explained we were a party of 7. They were told that the complete party had to be there before they sat us. When we all arrived, the hostess informed us that she could split us up at two booths but would not seat us at two tables put together. When asked why two tables could not be put together she rudely told us she had 130 hotel guests to accomodate - even though the dining room was almost empty. We left. When the general manager was contacted she apologized and wished us better luck elsewhere. Our group was very disappointed. We were in town for a week and all other establishments were very accomodating. This was our only negative experience on our vacation.
MoreThe breakfast food was good and a pleasant atmosphere..
Bad
We ordered our drinks and breakfast. 2 min later toast cam out Luke warm and soggy. Food came out 5 min later ( how does that happen). People behind us order and their food ,wasnt 5 min and their food came out. I've had microwaved bacon before , and this was microwaved bacon . No place can serve eggs bacon and toast in 5 mins that isn't precooked or microwaved. Portions were tiny and bill would have been $50 for a family of five with coupons from hotel. Spend your money somewhere else!!!
MoreWe stayed at the attached Days Inn, and went here for breakfast. It was delicious, fresh cooked, and hot. The staff was very friendly. They did get a little busy at peak times due to the hotel traffic.
MoreAwesomely terrible, not really sure how you screw up hashbrown, eggs, and toast, but overall it was pretty terrible. Kudos Trappers!
MoreThe wait time for my meal was over 45 minutes and it was all cold.
My job
Mediocre at best with an acceptable breakfast. Wait staff are friendly. You may wait a little while to get seated. Food is ok, selection limited. Really, this is what we come to expect in West Yellowstone. You get 2 breakfasts with your room if staying at the Days Inn.
MoreBeen having breakfast here for years. Excellent!
Breakfast was and has been in the past very good. Fast, friendly service, reasonable prices & great atmosphere
MoreAmazing food and great service. Portions were amazing and a high quality
We are shocked to find the reviews for this place to be so low. The food was great (breakfast). The service was awesome (we had Katie). She is the type of server you only dream to have in a restaurant. We weren't waiting too long, well not compared to the restaurants in CO, but she still compensated our meal because of the tardiness of the kitchen. A couple ppl were quite picky n absolutely rude to her and I tip my hat to how she kept her composure. We strongly recommend this place, the food was awesome and the service was great (minus the hostess she could learn to be more open n welcoming. Sry I can't remember her name but she worked on 7/28 in the morning, brunette).
MoreSteak tasted like goat. When it was brought to waitress attention, I was told to put more gravy on it
MoreI am gluten-intolerant and finding gluten free food in this part of the world is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Yesterday I found gluten free bread and asked Amy, the waiter at breakfast as they don't serve gluten free bread whether she could toast 2 slices of bread for me. Amy's first response was that bringing in food from the outside was not allowed and that the restaurant will not do it ... fullstop. I would have been prepared to pay for the service to have the bread toasted, but that was the end of the conversation with Amy.
MoreGood breakfast.
Fast delivery of food once it was ordered. Food was average and average resort pricing.
MoreAwful. If this is the last place to eat in West Yellowstone, drive to Island Park. My eggs were half cooked and bathed in grease, hash browns were cold, and they charged way more than the precooked food deserved to be. 😔
MoreFree breakfast restaurant for the attached Days Inn. Serves a decent hot breakfast. The staff are very friendly and efficient.
MoreService was a little slow (down a person) but for the money this one of the best deals in town for a quick bite and some good food.
MoreFood was fast, service was friendly, and everything tasted great! They've clearly tried to revamp after what looks like a couple of bad reviews posted before mine, so credit where due! Now onto Yellowstone.
MoreFabulous staff good food
Very good food.
Cold greasy food
Where to start. We sit down and tell the waitress we needed more time to which she continued to just stand at the table until we were ready which rushed our decisions and made me personally uncomfortable. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs and my buddy ordered the country fried steak sandwich. She immediately brought out my toast which was weird since I thought people like their food warm but I guess toast is meant to be ate cold. My buddies sandwich was missing the gravy and my eggs were cooked wrong. Then our check was brought halfway through our meal as if there was no possible way we could order more and caused both of us to feel rushed. No extra napkins and service was null and void after our food was delivered. Severe lack of follow up service. Frankly I won't be dining here again.
MoreService sucks. Food subpar.
Under staffed otherwise very good.
None of the food we ordered tasted that good. At the same price there are tons of restaurants that are a lot better than this one.
